The Parent-Teacher Organization is an important ministry that consists of parents and other adults who coordinate programs and assist with extracurricular activities with and for the Church School, the Greek Language School and the Conversational Greek Classes in order to support the needs of the parish’s teachers and aides.
Programs that the PTO provides for include the OXI Day celebration in October, Fall Party, Christmas Pageant and visit from Santa Claus, Communion breakfasts, February vacation week activities, Friday evening activities during Lent, Greek Independence Day Parade, Greek Independence Day celebration at Somerville City Hall and in the parish, Saturday of Lazarus Retreat, the Oratorical Festival, graduation, end of school year field trip and participation in the annual Church Festival.
The PTO is composed by a tireless team of adults who have many creative ideas and provide enriching experiences for the parish youth.
