The Choir is comprised of men and women of all ages who have both a love of Church music and a love to serve the Church. They give generously of their time and their talents by attending weekly rehearsals and singing during Sunday Divine Liturgy. Choir members also participate in Church services on Christmas Eve, at Friday evening Heretismi Services during Lent, and at services during Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Pascha. Choral responses are sung in four parts and in both Greek and English; all music is written in English phonetics.
The Choir is an active member of the Metropolis of Boston Federation of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians and takes part in its annual conferences, concerts, retreats and Vespers Services.
If you are considering taking part in the Choir, please know that there is no pre-requisite to be able to read music. Everyone is welcome to join the Choir.
